When to travel
It is to be remembered that Southern hemisphere seasons do not match those in the Northern one. Mild temperatures and long days are generally recorded in Summer time; this season being regarded as the most favourable one in Patagonia and the Southern Andes. It is recommendable to travel around the North and Northeast regions in winter time since rains are less frequently recorded and tropical temperatures go down some degrees. Autumn and Spring are considered to be wonderful seasons in Buenos Aires, Cuyo, and in the Pre-Andean areas located in La Rioja and Catamarca.
